BMW X5 Design Exterior
The exterior of the 2024 BMW X5 has been updated. The front end of the SUV has been sharpened, with more angular headlamps, redesigned kidney grilles, and a sharper front fascia. The X5 gets new rear taillights, although the changes are minor.
BMW X5 Interior Concept
BMW has made a few adjustments to the inside appearance of the 2024 X5. The dashboard of the midsize SUV has been redesigned to accommodate the additional screens. With fewer physical controls and a single toggle switch for the gear shifter, the center console has been streamlined. The sensation is a vegan fake leather option developed by BMW.
BMW X5 Engine Performance
For the 2024 model year, BMW X5 has made significant improvements to the drivetrain. The basic 40i model comes with a new turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine mated to a mild-hybrid system. The engine produces 375 hp and 383 pound-feet of torque. V8-powered vehicles now bear the M60 badge and are powered by a new turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 with 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Its powerplant also has a mild-hybrid system. The new xDrive50e plug-in hybrid model succeeds the xDrive45e from last year. The moniker change is due to the PHEV receiving a new six-cylinder engine, a bigger lithium-ion battery pack, and a range of around 40 miles.
